Women Eco Champions are, as the name suggests, women who champion for eco causes. The 87 women appointed at the launch of My Litter-free Environment @ South West come from 15 Women’s Executive Committees in the South West District.
The Women Eco Champions’ duties, among others, include spreading the message of anti-littering, promoting awareness of anti-littering at grassroots events or housevisits, and reaching out to pre-school children through story-telling sessions to educate them about the importance of keeping the environment clean and litter free.
