Ladies, do your part to keep Singapore Litter-Free! Pledge to do something to spread anti-littering messages to all Singaporeans. It could be pledging to teach your children or encourage your colleagues and friends not to litter, something easy and simple to do but yet make a difference to our environment. The Women Eco Champions underwent a training session on 5 June 2010 at Gek Poh Ville CC to understand some basics of their roles, and had a hands- on lesson on story-telling. The initiative was launched on 12 June 2010 at the ‘My Litter-free Environment @ Southwest event by Dr Amy Khor, Mayor of South West District and Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources.
