Individual Category

Excellent Chairman Award

A) Objective: To recognise a WEC Chairman who shows strong leadership and who has contributed in the area of developing her members, membership renewal, proactively working with other GROs in leading/organising Constituency/GRC-level projects/events and shown strong support in WIN Council & PA initiatives.

B) Eligibility:

(i) Leading a WEC with at least 3-Star rating at PA Awards as at the year of assessment.
(ii) Nominee must serve as a Chairman at least for 1 term.
(iii) WEC must be in the top 20 position of the Dynamic DMS Team Award as at the year of assessment.

Group Category

1) Dazzling Star Award:

A) Objective: To recognise WECs which have performed excellently at PA Awards consistently for the past 3 years beginning from the year of assessment and have collaborated with VWOs, CDCs and NGOs to organise activities/events to equip women with relevant skills and/or to help needy women.

B) Criteria:

(i) WEC’s PA Awards Star Grading for the past 3 years beginning from the year of assessment
(ii) WECs’ scores in PA Awards as at the year of assessment
(iii) Organised activities/events (either individual or jointly with other GROs) to equip women in the community with relevant and important skills/knowledge. Eg, Financial management and Health related programs
(iv) Collaboration with CDCs, VWOs, and NGOs etc in programmes that help women in the community

2) Rising Star Award:

A) Objective: To recognise newly-formed WECs (between 3 & 6 years old) which have made the most improvement in the PA Awards star grading for the past 3 years beginning from the year of assessment and achieving 4-star in PA Awards as at the year of assessment.

B) Criteria:

(i) WECs which are 3 to 6 years old
(ii) Have shown improvement in PA Awards for the past 3 years beginning from the year of assessment

3) Dynamic DMS Team Award:

A) Objective: To recognise WECs which actively support the Dual Membership Scheme by organising joint projects with RCs & YECs, forming Young Ladies’ Clubs, putting in effort to recruit the most young members and with the highest residential representation.

B) Eligibility:
The WEC must have at least 1 Star at PA Awards as at the year of assessment
The WEC must organise at least one joint project with RCs and/or YECs
The WEC must form at least one Young Ladies Club

C) Criteria:

(i) WECs with the most no. of members below the age of 40 years old as at the year of assessment
(ii) WECs with the highest percentage of residential representation as at the year of assessment.
(iii) No of joint activities with RCs and/or YECs attracting at least 30 participants per GRO.
(iv) Formation of Young Ladies’ Club

4) Active Recruiter Award:

A) Objective: To recognise WECs’ efforts in achieving near full-house membership; ensuring minority representation (matching constituency’s profile) & PMET representation and recruitment of WEC Executive Members and Associate Members through DMS.

B) Eligibility: WEC must have at least 1 Star at PA Awards as at the year of assessment

C) Criteria:

(i) WECs which meet the multi-racial composition of the constituency’s racial profile as at the year of assessment
(ii) WECs with membership size above 20 members as at the year of assessment
(iii) Above 35 % of WEC members are of PMET-Type as at the year of assessment
(iv) No. of non-grassroots WEC Associates recruited as at the year of assessment
(v) No. of non-grassroots WEC Associates inducted into WEC as WEC Executive Members as at the year of assessment
(vi)No. of grassroots WEC Associates inducted into WEC as WEC Executive Members as at the year of assessment
